The owner of the valid code of the check is the owner of the obligation, that serves as the ground for check. A check number without a code does not give the right to receive the checks face value !
On this page you can get documents verifying that you own the check, in case you need to present it to the interested party. You can as well receive the obligation, that serves as the ground for check issuing by the Issuer. The check is an unconditional obligation of the debtor to return the amount, equal to the checks face value to the bearer.
